I'll present a couple examples and point to talks that might cover them. You offer a couple more. We repeat the exercise for 3 concepts/sections:
Local (1-3): you are biodiversity newbie, your interactions rarely make it beyond your computer
Regional (4-6): that web has GOOD STUFF on it, you interact with labmates near and far
Global (7-9): heavy stuff that may have global implications, you're not keeping track of everything you've touched, but someone is
